New integration with SIHOT: More flexibility and automation for your hotel
At Hotelinking, we are always looking to offer solutions that optimise the hotel operation and improve the guest experience. Today, we are pleased to announce a new improvement in our integration with SIHOT, one of the most advanced hotel management platforms in the market. This upgrade not only strengthens the stability of the system, but also adds flexibility and automation to several key processes.
What improvements does the new integration bring?
1. More versatile booking search
Previously, locating bookings could only be done through the booking locator. Now, we have implemented additional options that simplify this process, allowing hotels to choose between:
- Locator + Surname or Check-in Date
- Full name + Check-in date (without the need for the locator)
This flexibility not only facilitates access to information, but also improves the usability of the system for guests, speeding up check-in and reducing the time spent on managing reservations.
2. Automatic sending of signed documentation to the PMS
Thanks to the new integration, now all documents signed during the check-in process, such as the traveller’s report and other important documents (privacy policies, internal regulations, etc.), will be automatically sent to the SIHOT PMS. This ensures that all information is centralised and available to the front desk team without manual intervention, reducing the margin of error and processing time.
3. Standardised API: the key to all improvements
The implementation of a standardised API has been the driving force behind all these improvements. Thanks to this new structure, we have been able to develop a deeper and more flexible integration, which enables greater customisation in the Check-in process and automates the sending of documents.
In addition to enabling these functionalities, the standardised API has also significantly improved the stability of the system, reducing the risk of crashes in critical services such as Portal Pro and AutoCheckin, ensuring greater reliability in the day-to-day operations of hotels.
4. More accessible customisable settings
It is now easier to access and configure customised settings such as guest types, rooms and documents. The new integration makes it easier to synchronise these settings with the PMS, allowing hotels to manage these variables more accurately and efficiently, optimising the guest experience.
